How it works
A digital layer that makes wellbeing, connection, and contribution easier to sustain.
Six steps, and most of them happen outside. Villager’s whole job is getting you to the part that isn’t on a screen.
- 01
Join a village
A block, a building, a cohousing community, a campus. Villages are small enough that showing up is realistic.
- 02
Take stock of your connection
A short, private reflection on how connected and supported you feel right now — and what you'd like more of.
- 03
Say what you're here for
Care for yourself, meet people, help others, share what you have. Your answers shape what Villager suggests — nothing else.
- 04
Learn something small
Four to seven minutes, grounded in research on connection and belonging. Learn, Reflect, Try It.
- 05
Take one action
Bring a dish. Lend a drill. Ask for the help you actually need. Villager exists to make the next offline step obvious and easy.
- 06
Watch the village change
Not likes and followers. Households participating, needs met, newcomers integrated, neighbors known by name.
What Villager will never do
- Count your followers.
- Rank your neighbors.
- Tell you that you're missing out.
- Reward you for logging in.
- Turn a disagreement into a comment thread.
- Measure success in screen time.
